LGC Employees Run for the Dolphins

Nowadays, running is not just about being fit but it has also become an avenue for people to gather and show their advocacy. The LGC employees participated in the Condura Skyway Marathon on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at the 28th street corner 11th Avenue Bonifacio High Street, Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila with Condura's advocacy of preserving the treasures of aquatic life particularly the dolphins of Bohol.

Both AIR21 employees Frederick Gabriel (Sales and Marketing) who finished at 4:44:22 and Victor Viola (Sales) who finished at 5:19:41 accomplished the 42KM full marathon.

Other employees who joined were Cindy Sevilla (AIR21 Sales) and Jeff Fabregas (AIR21 IT) for the 21KM, Bertha Lina (AIR21 Marketing), Donna May Lina- Flavier (UBE MEDIA), Juan Carlos Cabalatungan (AIR21 Sales), Ronald Caldez (AIR21 IT), Bernadette Gerson (AIR21 IT), Rona Rose Tañada (AIR21 IT) for the 10KM and Rommel de Guzman (AIR21 IT) for the 5KM.

Fifty pesos from each paying registrant and any excess funds goes in to rehabilitate the Baclayon pier and build a floating wharf.

The race consisted of 42k, 21k, 10k, 5k and 3k. All the registrants got a Dolphin souvenir shirt while the finishers received a medal.
